Annual Summer Reading Program
The summer reading program is available for all children
through graduated 8th graders.
Incentives are given throughout the summer and children who read at least
40 titles are entered in a grand prize drawing at the end of the program..

Sunday:  Closed
Monday:  Closed
Tuesday:  Noon – 5:00 pm
Wednesday:  Noon – 5:00 pm
Thursday:  Noon – 7:00 pm
Friday:  7:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday:  10:00 am – 2:00 pm


Variety of books including fiction, nonfiction,
and reference for both adults and children.
Books may be checked out for 28 days and may be renewed by request.

Over 1,270 popular DVD’s and 900 VHS movies.
Check-out policy per household is 3 DVD movies for 3 days and 10 VHS movies 7 days.

Magazines and Newspapers
The library subscribes to 38 different magazines.
Current issues may be checked out for 1 week and back issues for 28 days.
In addition, the library carries our local newspaper – The Herald.

Audio Cassettes
The library has books on tape and CD as well as children’s stories.
Audio materials may be checked out for 28 days.

Inter-Library Loan
Patrons can access materials not available at the Eckels Memorial Library
by using the inter-library loan service.

The library has 3 high speed internet stations, WIFI,
wireless color printers, and one non-internet computer station.
A fax machine and color copier are also available for a fee.

Story Hour
The C.I.R.C.A. ’72 Club offers a story hour once a month
during the school year for young children.
Group members read books, provide a craft and treats for the participants.
